The German Wiki Entry Is Quite Execellent, perhaps one should use that as an inspiration.

 Name of The Citizens and Old name of Ribe (Ripe og Ripensere). Historical Section.   The history of the church, floods, etc... much more there.. The Whole VIKING CONNECTION.... Nightlife. Main Industries of Ribe. (Historical aswell). Sports. Insert af City Info Table. Steal alot from the German WikiEntry. Take some pictures to include on the webpage. Figure out if there is a version of the City Shield which can be given a CC Licence. Get some more people to write on this article. Organization in the City. Nav Bars at the Bottom. (Viking and City Stuff).

I have cleaned up a bit so it is a bit less like a "travel portal", but there is much more to be done. Some of this article is probably more suited forWikiTravel (see their article onRibe), especially the Accomodations section, which in my opinion definately does not belong here. Unless there is good argument for leaving it in place, I will probably move it off this page, and maybe onto WikiTravel (but that is not for me a high priority). --SFDan15:12, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Recently I have extended the list of notable people from Ribe, using an updated version of [Category:People from Ribe]. I have left the entries in alphabetical order, as requested by an earlier contributor in a line hidden from view at the top of the list. However, I feel there would be merit in using four or five sub groups like arts & science / business / public thinking / sport and then listing people in date order in those groups - see for exampleHaderslev andBornholm.

Any thoughts?
