TheSverdrup Channel (80°00′N097°45′W / 80.000°N 97.750°W /80.000; -97.750 (Sverdrup Channel)) is an area of sea in theCanadian Arctic Archipelago within theQikiqtaaluk Region,Nunavut.[1] To the north-west of the channel isMeighen Island, to the east isAxel Heiberg Island, and to the south isAmund Ringnes Island. TheFay Islands are located in the channel.
