Stéphane Caristan (born 31 May 1964) is a retiredhurdler fromFrance, who set the world's best year performance in 1986. He did so by winning the men's110 metres hurdles final at theEuropean Championships in Stuttgart, clocking 13.20, which was also his personal best. He competed in three consecutiveSummer Olympics for his native country, starting in 1984. Caristan later became the coach of French sprinterChristine Arron.
