Srabon,Shravan orShaon (Bengali:শ্রাবণSrabôn, শাওন Shaon) is the fourth month of theBengali calendar and one of the two months that make up thewet season, locally called "Barsha" (Bengali:বর্ষাBôrsha).[1][2] Artisans start making idols forDurga Puja,Kali Puja, etc. in this month.[3]
It is named after the starShrobona (শ্রবণাShrôbôna).
