Prior to 1995, SMEA published and distributed video games in Australia & New Zealand on behalf ofSony Imagesoft and Sony Electronic Publishing Europe, and briefly operated Sony's PlayStation business in Australia & New Zealand on behalf of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.
