Born inSweden, Azizi joined BK Olympic youth academy. He made his debut againstNorrby IF forLandskrona BoIS.

Azizi joined Ariana FC – a club fromMalmö founded byAfghan immigrants – in July 2018.^[1]

In September 2016, he received his first call-up to theAfghanistan senior side for the friendly againstLebanon.

In October 2017, he played his first competitive game for Afghanistan, againstJordan in the qualification for the2019 AFC Asian Cup.^[2]
