Panix Pass orPanixer Pass (Romansh:Pass dil Veptga, German:Panixerpass) (2404 m) is aSwissAlpine pass between the cantons ofGlarus andGraubünden.

The pass was once an important trade route between the canton ofGlarus andItaly. It connectsElm in theSernftal in Glarus withPigniu (Panix) in theVorderrhein valley of Graubünden. It is not passable by car.
In October 1799, Russian GeneralAlexander Suvorovmade a strategic retreat from theFrench Revolutionary forces south over the pass and regrouped his forces inAustria.
