Oorlams (also:Oorlands,Oorlans) is a dialect of Afrikaans spoken in the Republic ofSouth Africa andNamibia, by theOorlam people.

It is considered to be either anAfrikaans-basedcreole language or a dialect ofAfrikaans proper.

Oorlams has many elements fromKhoi languages.
