Michaël Jordan Nkololo (born 9 November 1992) is a professionalfootballer who plays as anattacking midfielder andforward for Icelandic clubÍBV.[1] Born in France, he plays for theDR Congo national team.

Early life

Nkololo was born inCréteil, in the southeastern suburbs of Paris, to Zairean parents born inLéopoldville. He acquiredFrench nationality on 28 January 2004, through the collective effect of his parents'naturalization.[2]

Club career

Châteauroux

Nkololo began his career at Châteauroux and made his debut on 31 August 2012 in the 2–1 defeat away toGuingamp, coming on as a late substitute forYohan Hautcoeur.[1] He made a total of three league appearances for Châteauroux, whilst making twenty appearances and scoring six goals, including one on his debut againstLa Flèche RC, for the club's reserve team.[1] He left in 2013.[1]

Clermont Foot

Nkololo joined Clermont in 2013 and was a first team regular in the 2013–14 season making 32 appearances in the league, scoring once and assisting four times.[3] Nkololo went on trial atPremier League clubAston Villa in January 2015.[4] He departed Clermont in 2015, he participated in fiftyLigue 2 matches for the club across two seasons.[1] He also scored three goals in nine games for Clermont II.[1]

Caen

He joinedCaen ahead of the2015–16 Ligue 1 season.[5] He played sixteen times in his first season for Caen, as well as five times inChampionnat de France Amateur 2 for Caen II.[1] After zero appearances in the first six months of2016–17, Nkololo left Caen on 17 January 2017 to joinLigue 2 sideLaval.[6][7]

Hermannstadt

Nkololo played forRomanian sideHermannstadt in 2018, where he scored two goals: one inLiga I againstDinamo București, another one inCupa României againstFC Voluntari.

Istra 1961

In February 2019, Nkololo joined Croatian clubNK Istra 1961 until June 2020.[8]

Riga FC

In December 2019, he joined the reigning Latvian championsRiga FC.[9]

FK Sūduva

In June 2021 LithuanianFK Sūduva introduced a new member of the club.[10][11] On 2 August 2021 he scored first goal for the new team inA Lyga againstKauno Žalgiris[12][13]

FC Kyzylzhar

In February 2022 he signed withFC Kyzylzhar fromKazakhstan.[14]

ÍBV

On 16 August 2023, he signed withÍBV fromIceland.[15]

International career

Nkololo has represented DR Congo atsenior level, he has scored two goals in four appearances for his country.[1]

Jordan is the brother of the footballerBéni Nkololo.[16]
