Mark Porter (born 15 March 1960,Aberdeen,Scotland) is a British publication designer and art director, and former creative director ofThe Guardian.[1][2] Formerly he was the art director of theEvening Standard, the UK edition ofWired, andColors.[citation needed] He directed the redesign ofThe Guardian,[3] which was voted best-designed newspaper in the world by the US-basedSociety for News Design in 2006.[4]
