It was established in 2011 by theGovernment of Madhya Pradesh and has jurisdiction over allmedical,dental,nursing,paramedical,Ayurveda,homeopathic,Unani, andYoga colleges in Madhya Pradesh.^[3] It has about 300affiliated colleges and a yearly intake of 80,000 students.^[3]
