The line was simultaneously extended from Nagoya toNakamura Kōen and fromHoshigaoka to its current eastern terminus ofFujigaoka on April 1, 1969. The line was further extended fromNakamura Kōen to its present western terminus ofTakabata on September 21, 1982, and with that was completed as the line which operates today.[4]
