Hassan Ameer Jones (born July 2, 1964) is an American former professionalfootball player who was awide receiver for either seasons in theNational Football League (NFL) from 1986 to 1993. He playedcollege football for theFlorida State Seminoles and was selected by theMinnesota Vikings in the fifth round of the1986 NFL draft.[1]

Jones played for theClearwater High School Tornadoes. A 6'0", 195-lb.wide receiver fromFlorida State University, Jones' best year as a pro came during the1990 season for the Vikings when he had 51receptions for 810 yards and seventouchdowns.[2][3][4] He was a first-team All-South independent in 1985.
