Ayatollah[2]Hashem Hashemzadeh Herisi (Persian:هاشم هاشم‌زاده هریسی, was born 1938 inHeris,East Azerbaijan) is an IranianShiitecleric and politician. He is a former member of the 3rd and 4th and 5th[3]Assembly of Experts from theEast Azerbaijan electorate, from themidterm election in 2008 to 2024.[4][5][6] He was also an MP fromelectoral district Tabriz, Osku and Azarshahr for the 3rd and 5th terms.[7]
