TheGeely Xingrui (Chinese:吉利星瑞;pinyin:Jílì xīng ruì) orGeely Preface is amid-sizesedan produced byGeely Auto forChina since 2020. It was revealed in September 2020 atAuto China.

The Geely Xingrui was first previewed by the Prefaceconcept atAuto Shanghai in April 2019.[4]
The production model, originally referred to as the Preface,[5] was revealed in September 2020 at the2020 Auto China event inBeijing,China as the Xingrui.[3][6]
The Xingrui shares the same platform, the GeelyCompact Modular Architecture platform, with theXingyuecompact SUV, and the same engine, the 2.0-litreVolvo JLH-4G20TD, with theLynk & Co 02compact SUV that produces 187 hp (139 kW; 190 PS) and 300 N⋅m (221 lb⋅ft; 31 kg⋅m) of torque.[7] Since 2023, Geely started to offer a 1.5-litre trim that could produce 181 PS (133 kW; 179 hp) and 290 N⋅m (214 lb⋅ft; 30 kg⋅m).[8]
The Geely Xingrui L or Preface L is the facelift HEV version of the regular Xingrui or Preface. The variant was launched in October 2023, and as the HEV version, the powertrain consists of an electric motor and the BHE15-BFZ 1.5 liter turbo four-cylinder engine shared with the Geely Galaxy L7 SUV, with a maximum power output of 120 kW and a peak torque of 255 Nm.[9] The Xingrui L Zhiqing is another hybrid variant based on the Xingrui L and was launched in December 2023. The Zhiqing (智擎) powertrain is a 1.5 liter turbo engine that generates 163 hp of power and 255 Nm of torque, combined with an electric motor with 136 hp of power and 320 Nm of torque with an average consumption of 23.7 km/l. Accelerating time from 0 to 100 km/h is 7.5 seconds and the maximum speed is 200 km/h. The transmission is a 3-speed DHT.[10]
Geely plans to enter the Preface inTCR World Tour withCyan Racing starting in 2026.[11]
