Faxe Kondi is a Danish soft drink produced byRoyal Unibrew throughFaxe Bryggeri since 1971. Originally it was sold in beer bottles, asFaxe Bryggeri was primarily abeer brewing company. It is marketed as a sports drink.

There is also a light-version, Faxe Kondi Zero Calories, and threeenergy drinks, Faxe Kondi Booster (sold only in Denmark until 2019; it has also been seen in markets in Finland since), Faxe Kondi Booster Blue and Faxe Kondi Booster Red. From 2016/2017 onwards, a limitedSummer edition has been released annually with a different flavouring each year.[1][2][3] In 2023 Royal Unibrew introduced an orange flavored version of Faxe Kondi called "Faxe Kondi Appelsin", a zero Calorie version is also available.[3]
From 1996 to 2001, Faxe Bryggeri sponsored the Faxe Kondi name in theDanish Superliga (asFaxe Kondi Ligaen) andDanish 1st Division (asFaxe Kondi Divisionen).[citation needed]
Availability outside Denmark
editThe Faxe drinks hold a particularly strong market position inGreenland, where it is bottled inNuuk from concentrate shipped fromDenmark. Faxe Kondi holds a 33% market share in the country (mean consumption: 42 litres (11 US gal) per capita per annum).[4] InNorway, the 0.33L can versions (Regular and Light) are sold by theNormal discount chain; an attempt in 2024 at selling only the light versions inCoop Norge stores flopped, in part as their distributorHansa Borg Bryggerier admitted to simply trying to get into Norway's diet soda hype and were incorrectly marketing Faxe Kondi Light as being the "original" Faxe Kondi.[5] InIceland, the 0.33L can versions are sold. In theFaroe Islands, Faxe Kondi is sold in 0.33L cans as well as 0.25, 0.5, 1.5L, and 2.0L bottles.
