Evolution & Development is apeer-reviewedscientific journal publishing material at the interface ofevolutionary anddevelopmental biology. Withinevolutionary developmental biology, it has the aim of aiding a broader synthesis of biological thought in these two areas. Its scope ranges frompaleontology andpopulation biology, to developmental andmolecular biology, includingmathematics and thehistory andphilosophy of science.
It was established in 1999 by five biologists:Wallace Arthur,Sean B. Carroll, Michael Coates,Rudolf Raff, and Gregory Wray.[1] It is published byWiley-Blackwell on behalf of theSociety for Integrative and Comparative Biology.
