EIKON International is located inMontgomery, Alabama,[1] and makes interurban cars, trolley cars and streetcars. EIKON also restores and manufactures other types of rail cars, includingstreetcars. EIKON emerged in 2008 asEdwards Rail Car Company ceased production of railcars at the Montgomery location.

Current operations
editIn production are severalrailbuses to be sent toPeru[2] for operation, patterned after original Edwards designs dating from the mid-1920s.[3] The propulsion system for these cars uses a diesel-hydraulic design after joint engineering withParker Hannifin andCummins.
Peter Witt trolley #754 was restored forM-Line Trolley, as well as an originalEdwards Model 10 for a private collector.
