Dharmalingam Ethiraj (1 July 1934 – 11 December 2020) was an Indianfootballer who representedIndia national team at the1962 Asian Games andwon a gold. He was the oldest player in the young yet talented Indian Team.[1][2][3][4] Ethiraj joined theIndian Army in 1948 and served in theMadras Sappers. He played forMysore andServices in theSantosh Trophy. He was the top scorer in the 1961 Santosh Trophy.[4]
