Andrew Lawrence Cooper (born March 10, 1985), known professionally asCooper Andrews, is an American actor. He is best known for his role asJerry onThe Walking Dead. In 2019, he was cast as Víctor Vásquez inShazam! (2019) and returned for itssequel (2023) in theDC Extended Universe.

Andrews was born inSmithtown, New York onLong Island. His father isSamoan and his mother is ofHungarian Jewish descent.^[1] He grew up with his mother, and was raisedJewish.^[2] Andrews lived inAtlanta for many years and is a graduate ofDunwoody High School.^[3]

Andrews played the recurring character Yo-Yo Engberk in the first three seasons inAMC'sHalt and Catch Fire.^[1] He went on to be cast asJerry inThe Walking Dead and inShazam! as Victor Vásquez, a role which he reprised in its 2023 sequelShazam! Fury of the Gods.^[4] Andrews has also worked behind the camera as boom operator, stunt coordinator and assistant director.^[1]
