TheBuëch (French pronunciation:[bɥɛʃ];[1]Occitan:BuegOccitan pronunciation:[bɥetʃ]) is ariver in southeasternFrance, a right tributary of theDurance. It is 85.3 km (53.0 mi) long.[2] Itsdrainage basin is 1,478 km2 (571 sq mi).[3] Its source is in theDauphiné Alps, near the peak ofGrand Ferrand. It flows generally southward for most of its course in theHautes-Alpes département, and flows into the Durance atSisteron.
