TheBuëch (French pronunciation:[bɥɛʃ];^[1]Occitan:BuegOccitan pronunciation:[bɥetʃ]) is ariver in southeasternFrance, a right tributary of theDurance. It is 85.3 km (53.0 mi) long.^[2] Itsdrainage basin is 1,478 km² (571 sq mi).^[3] Its source is in theDauphiné Alps, near the peak ofGrand Ferrand. It flows generally southward for most of its course in theHautes-Alpes département, and flows into the Durance atSisteron.
