Bruce Mackinnon (born 17 October 1978) is an Englishactor and writer who has appeared in various television programmes and films.

Mackinnon was born inEsher,Surrey and was educated atEton College, before studying drama atThe University of Manchester. He began his career in the comedy duo "Mat and Mackinnon" withMathew Horne.[1] MacKinnon has starred in TV shows such asThe Office,The Catherine Tate Show,Smack the Pony and forHBORome.[2] Movie credits includeLife and Death of Peter Sellers,The Duchess andVanity Fair. He has also written for television shows such asThe Catherine Tate Show,Alistair MacGowan,Johnny Vaughan and forDara Ó Briain onLive Floor Show. In 2012, Mackinnon was selected to playSir Andrew Aguecheek in theRSC's 2012 production ofTwelfth Night, directed byDavid Farr. In 2014 Mackinnon has appeared inInside No. 9 for the BBC,Utopia for Channel 4 and theMarvel Studios movieGuardians of the Galaxy.[3]
In 2015 MacKinnon starred inShowtime / Hat Trick ProductionsEpisodes. In 2022 he appeared as Isaac inGhosts.[4]
