Brooks Frederick Landgraf (born March 15, 1981)[1] is an American attorney and politician serving as a member of theTexas House of Representatives from the81st district. Elected in November 2014, he assumed office in 2015.

Early life and education
editLandgraf is a native ofOdessa, Texas and graduated fromPermian High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree fromTexas A&M University and aJuris Doctor from theSt. Mary's University School of Law. As an undergraduate, Landgraf was a member of theTexas A&M University Corps of Cadets.[2][3]
Career
editAfter graduating from law school, Landgraf returned to Odessa and began working as an attorney. Landgraf was elected to theTexas House of Representatives in November 2014 and assumed office in 2015.[4]

editBrooks Landgraf has an "F" rating from theNational Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) for his voting history regardingcannabis-related causes.[5]
Personal life
editLandgraf married Shelby Levins in 2013. They have one daughter.[6]
