Brüssow is a town in theUckermark district, inBrandenburg, in north-easternGermany. It is situated 16 kilometres (10 mi) southeast ofPasewalk, and 27 km (17 mi) west ofSzczecin.

In 1685, aFrenchHuguenot commune was founded in Battin,[3] now part of Brüssow.
