Aringa, also known asLow Lugbara, is aCentral Sudanic language or dialect spoken by theAringa people in theWest Nile region ofUganda. It is related to the languages spoken by theLugbara andMaʼdi peoples.

Aringa is sometimes considered a dialect ofLugbara language,[2] other times a separate language.[1] The speakers of Lugbara andMaʼdi both consider Aringa to be a separate but related language. There are several divergent dialects: Andre, Kuluba, and Lebati.
