Aleksandr Yevgenyevich Bukharov (Russian:Александр Евгеньевич Бухаров; born 12 March 1985) is a Russian former professional footballer who played as astriker.

Club career

WithRubin Kazan Bukharov won theRussian Premier League 2008. At that season he broke the record for the fastest goal in theRussian Premier League, scoring after 26 seconds.[2] On 19 July 2010, he signed four-year contract withZenit Saint Petersburg.[3]

On 22 February 2018, he was released from hisRostov contract by mutual consent.[4]

On 25 July 2018, he returned to Rubin Kazan, signing a one-year contract.[5] He left Rubin upon the expiration of his contract on 17 June 2019.[6]

International career

Bukharov made his debut for theRussia national team in October 2009 in a2010 FIFA World Cupqualifier againstAzerbaijan. After six years without call-ups, he returned to the national team for two friendly games in March 2017.
