The game was stopped multiple times by fans throwing objects onto the pitch, as part of nationwide fan protests against VAR and its implementation in Eliteserien. After objects were thrown a fourth time referee Rohit Saggi decided to abandon the match. The teams were forced byNFF to replay the match without spectators.
