New CEO for EISCAT AB appointed

The EISCAT Board has appointed Mr. Philip Påhlsson as CEO, starting 1st of April 2025.

Mr. Påhlsson comes most recently from a position as the Vice President of Strategy and Project Manager for New Esrange at the Swedish Space Corporation (SSC). He has been instrumental in advancing Esrange Space Center’s capabilities. Under his leadership, SSC has developed infrastructure to support satellite launches, positioning Esrange as a key player in Europe’s space industry.
