The Concorde Takes Shape: Test programme and construction proceeding according to schedule
Abstract
A significant point was reached in the construction A of the Concorde SST when a large test specimen, designation 2.8b, was moved during the first weekend in March from theSud Aviation works at blagnac to the new structural test centre of the Stablissement Aeronautique de Toulouse (E.A.T.) at ont l'Hers, where it is to undergo a test programme under simulated flight environmental conditions to rove the integrity of the structure.
