Notes[]

  • The original Japanese version was a stand-alone storyline, but was re-written in international markets as the final chapter of the Unicron Trilogy. Later material would try to link the original version to the original version of the other two chapters of the Unicron Trilogy.
  • As another result of this, little to no members of the cast from the previous two installments reprise their roles. The only exception is Tesshō Genda as Primus.
  • Conversely, most of the English cast returned. The only exceptions areBrent Miller being replaced as Hot Shot by Kirby Morrow, Scott McNeil being replaced as Jetfire by Brian Drummond (due to the decision to give Jetfire an Australian accent, something which is ironic as McNeil was born in Australia),Ward Perry being replaced as Landmine by Paul Dobson, Himself being replaced as Sideways by Ted Cole, Colin Murdoch being replaced as Wing Saber by Peter Kelamis, and Ron Halder being replaced as Primus by Michael Donovan.
    • Secondly,Dave Ward replaced Paul Dobson as Overhaul after he became Leobreaker, likely to have him sound more distinctive from Landmine.
  • Toyline exclusive Characters Blurr, Longrack and Buzzsaw make cameos in the Series, With an unknown Voice actor voicing Blurr in eps 3, 4 and 5 andKirby Morrow in episode 10 andScott McNeil voicing Buzzsaw, Longrack however does not speak once in the series.
    • additionally a red and yellow and gold and red Blurr lookalikes appear alongside him in the episodes he appears in, this wiki Labelled them as Hot Rod and Bumblebee at the end time until it was corrected has The trademarks for Hot Rod and Bumblebee were unavailable at the time, also The latter appears to be Voiced byScott McNeil although Scott has never confirmed it.
