- A test dub of episode 23 was made by Intersound, Inc. in the United States in the early 1980's. The dub was produced bySteve Kramer, while the English script was written by Bob Barron. Two clips of the dub can be seen on theConan Digital Library game for the Panasonic Japan 3DO. The clips featureTony Oliver as the voice of Conan, andMike Reynolds as the voice of Captain Dyce. The dub was never released for unknown reasons, though it's long rumored that it was a cease-and-desist order from the estate of Alexander Key that caused it to be scrapped. It was also rumored Streamline Pictures attempted to distribute the series, but similar reasons halted them from doing so. The two clips from theConan Digital Library game are the only clips of the Intersound dub that have surfaced online.[2]
