Basilisk (バジリスク甲賀忍法帖Bajirisuku Kouga Ninpou Chou) is an anime based on the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masaki Segawa. It was produced by Gonzo Studios and aired between April 12, 2005 and September 20, 2005, consisting of 24 episodes. The series is licensed in the United States byFUNimation Entertainment and released on DVD starting on August 8, 2006. The series aired in Canada on Razer between July 6, 2006 and December 14, 2006.
