TheTogre is a recurringmonster in theDragon Quest series, first appearing inDragon Quest VII. It is a hideous humanoid with a bestial face that brandishes a bullwhip.

Characteristics[edit]

Stern, strong, and evilogres that smash their way through battle by boosting attack withOomph, causing their deadly attacks to do even more damage. They can also call down thunder to crash down on adventurers, striking the entire party at once. According to their bestiary description inX, the togres were once great heroes, but they were turned into monsters after angering the gods by stealing theKazapstrophe spell.
