Theorichalcum fangs are a recurring weapon in theDragon Quest franchise. They are designed for use by monster companions and are the ultimate bestial weapon in every game they appear in.

Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride[edit]

The Orichalcum fangs have an attack bonus of +115. They're found atMt. Zugzwang and are dropped bymechan-o'-wyrms at a rate of 1/64.

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation[edit]

The Orichalcum fangs have an attack bonus of +135 and a style bonus of +37, and having a 12.5% chance to kill any non-boss enemy instantly. They're found atAridea, post game only after receiving instructions from a resident ofReaper's Peak. They are the second-strongest weapon in the game, surpassing even themetal king sword but are less powerful than thegringham whip.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past[edit]

In the PSX original, the fangs are purchasable in the "Great Farm" version of theImmigrant town where they cost 30,000. In the 3DS remake the variants of the boom town have been removed, and the fangs are found in a hidden treasure chest instead.

In either version they areRuff's strongest weapon, boosting his attack by +135 and style by +37.
