Localisation History[edit]
The Japanese spellBaikiruto has been used as the name for the spell Oomph throughout the series history until the spellBaishion was introduced. In theJoker subseries of games,Baishion was a multitarget spell that would raise theparty'sAttack by one stage. However, starting withX,Baishion would be used as the name for the original spell, whileBaikiruto would raise a single character'sAttack by two stages. In the English localizations,Oomphle was used for the multitarget spell in theJoker games, but would correspond to the JapaneseBaikiruto spell inXI. InTact, the Japanese spellBaishion was localised with the new namePartyboost, while Oomph would be used once again forBaikiruto.
