In keeping with this, it grants excellent resistance to fire breath. Starting withDragon Quest X, it became classified as a greatshield.
Characteristics[edit]
The design of the dragon shield has stayed practically consistent throughout the series history. It is a round green shield that has been fashioned out of various dragon scales and horns and features a distinctive design of a fierce dragon's head on its front. The border of the shield is surrounded by eight horns. The dragon's head has a pair of red gemstones as eyes, another pair of red gems on the forehead, and a pair of curved horns on each side. A coiled dragon's tail decorates the bottom of the shield.
