The Bow tie has aDefence bonus of +2 and aStyle bonus of +33. It can be equipped by theHero,Carver,Nevan,Terry,Amos, andLizzie. The bow tie can be purchased atTurnscote for 2,400gold coins and sold for 1,800gold coins. It can also be dropped rarely byWet kissers andThaumatobats. If worn together with theSilk tuxedo for theBest-Dressed Contest, it provides an extra +25 bonus toStyle.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past[edit]
The Bow tie has aDefence bonus of +2, aStyle bonus of +15, and can be equipped by theHero,Ruff, andSir Mervyn. The bow tie can be found in various locations, including thePalazzo di Bulgio,El Monumento de Pomposo in the present, andHubble. In the originalSony PlayStation version of the game, bow ties can be purchased at the Bazaar evolution of theImmigrant Town for 2,400gold coins. Once again, if it is worn with theSilk tuxedo when being graded for theExcellence Grading Organisation forStyle, it provides an extra +25Style bonus.
