New Jersey, also namedJersey, is astate inDriver: Parallel Lines.

Description[]

New Jersey is the most luxury and richest borough, the area is filled with households and residential areas in the northern part in Fort Lee, before contrasting into a major fueling and industrial area in the Meadowlands near Newark and Paterson.

The borough is connected toManhattan by two tunnels and the George Washington Bridge, and is connected to TheBronx by anotherbridge. From the south of New Jersey in Jersey City, the player can see the silhouette of theStatue of Liberty, when looking out to sea.

Parts of New Jersey in Driver Parallel Lines-

Jersey City - Contains streets of strip malls, residential identical brown brick buildings, and streets with glass offices and somewhat skyscrapers including the tallest building in New Jersey, the Goldman Sachs Building.

Hoboken - Contains iconic clock and is where the Jersey Race Track is located. Only a parking lot, garage, race track, and street of retail businesses is playable in Hoboken.

Meadowlands - Contains streets and off road areas of factories, cargo, warehouses, steam stacks, and includes the Passaic River.

Weehawken - Area of New Jersey filled with office buildings, retail and residential streets, with open rich areas too. It is where the final fight with Corrigan takes place.

Fort Lee - Contains mostly open grass fields, big houses and mansions, and a sports complex including a Baseball and Soccer field.

Trivia[]

  • Despite being called a borough numerous times in the story-line, it is in fact a state, this is most likely an oversight.
  • It is the 2nd largest borough (or state) in the game behind Manhattan, the smallest borough in real life.
