Generally, reaction with a solvent, or with a @L03654@ or @L03653@ involving the rupture of one or more bonds in the reacting solute. More specifically the term is used for @S06078@ @E02038@ and @F02506@ reactions in which a solvent species is the @N04249@ ('alcoholysis' if the solvent is an alcohol, etc.).
