Abstract
In this paper we consider different approaches for channel estimation based on semi-blind subspace and training channel estimation for orthogonal and non-orthogonal space-time block codes in HSDPA environment. It is found that application of subspace channel estimation in flat fading channels is rather limited, while estimation based on training symbols provides acceptable performance.
