18.6.6 ProxyHandler Objects

protocol_open(

request)

TheProxyHandler will have a methodprotocol_open() for everyprotocol which has aproxy in theproxies dictionary given in the constructor. Themethod will modify requests to go through the proxy, by callingrequest.set_proxy(), and call the next handler in the chain toactually execute the protocol.
