New Features¶

• Theneutron::agents::l3 class now supports configuring conntrackdoptions.

• The newneutron::plugins::ml2::ovn::stateless_nat_enabled parameterhas been added.

• Theneutron class now has two new parametersrabbit_use_queue_manager andrabbit_stream_fanout.

• Support for Neutron FWaaS was readded.

• Theneutron::keystone::auth class now adds theservice role bydefault. Set theroles parameter not to add the role.

• Theneutron::servics::sfc::sfc_driver parameter has been deprecated,in favor of the newsfc_drivers parameter.

• Theneutron::servics::sfc::fc_driver parameter has been deprecated,in favor of the newfc_drivers parameter.

Upgrade Notes¶

• Theneutron::agents::l2gw::max_connection_retries parameter nowdefaults to theos_service_default fact, which uses the internaldefault value of the networking-l2gw plugin. Set this parameter in casethe previous default value (30 ) is desired.

• Theneutron::server::ensure_dr_package parameter has been removed.

• Theneutron::agents::l3::ha_enabled parameter has been removed.

• Puppet 7 is no longer supported. Use Puppet 8 instead.

• Theneutron::rabbit_heartbeat_in_pthread parameter has been removed.

• Theneutron::rootwrap class has been removed.

• Support for standalone neutron-server service has been removed.

• The following parameters of theneutron::agents::taas class have beenremoved.

  • vlan_range_end

• Theneutron::logging::watch_log_file parameter has been removed.

Deprecation Notes¶

• Support for Ovn Metadata Agent service has been deprecated, becausethe service was deprecated in neutron.

• Theneutron::vlan_transparent parameter and theneutron::vlan_qinqparameter have been deprecated and will be removed in a future release.
