  • A ‘hostname’ option has been added to the Masakari monitors configurationfile which replaces the ‘host’ option. The option should be used to specifythe Hostname, FQDN or IP address of the host.

Upgrade Notes

  • Python 2.7 support has been dropped. Last release of masakari-monitorsto support python 2.7 is OpenStack Train. The minimum version of Python nowsupported by masakari-monitors is Python 3.6.

Deprecation Notes

  • The ‘host’ option in the ‘DEFAULT’ section has been deprecated as itclashes with the name of a section in the same file. It has been replacedby the ‘hostname’ option.
