Managing volume licenses for GitHub Advanced Security
You can monitor and control the availability and consumption of licenses for Advanced Security in repositories in your enterprise.
Who can use this feature?
Enterprise owners withvolume/subscription licenses for Advanced Security.

There are two different ways to pay for GitHub Secret Protection, GitHub Code Security, and GitHub Advanced Security licenses: volume/subscription licenses purchased in advance or usage-based metered billing paid in arrears. Changing the size of your license
Navigate to your organization or enterprise. For example, fromhttps://github.com/settings/organizations orhttps://github.com/settings/enterprises.
From the list of "Billing & licensing" pages, clickLicensing.

To add new licenses, select, then clickManage licenses.
Under "Total licenses", click the plus or minus buttons to add or remove licenses.

ClickConfirm licenses.
Canceling your Advanced Security subscription
- Navigate to your organization or enterprise. For example, fromhttps://github.com/settings/organizations orhttps://github.com/settings/enterprises.
- From the list of "Billing & licensing" pages, clickLicensing.
- To the right of "Advanced Security", select, then clickCancel subscription.
- To confirm your cancellation, clickI understand, cancel Advanced Security.
