Refine prompts

The AI assistant in Vertex AI Studio can help you refine your promptsbased on your targeted results.

To refine prompts, do the following:

1. Open Vertex AI Studio and clickCreate prompt:

   Open Vertex AI Studio

2. In the prompt box, add your prompt.

3. ClickSubmit.

4. Clickauto_fixRefine prompt.

5. Enter feedback about what you'd like to change about the model's responseto your prompt, or select one or more of the following prefilled feedbackoptions:

   • Make shorter
   • Maker longer
   • More professional
   • More casual

6. ClickApply and run.

7. Repeat the process until you're satisfied with the model's response.

Generate prompts

Use the Vertex AI Studio AI prompt assistant to generate your prompts.Generating prompts can help you speed up the prompt-writing process.

To generate prompts, do the following:

1. Open Vertex AI Studio and clickCreate prompt:

   Open Vertex AI Studio

2. In the prompt box, clickHelp me write.

3. Enter a description of what you would like your prompt to achieve. Forexample,Music recommendation bot.

4. ClickGenerate prompt.

5. ClickInsert.

6. ClickSubmit.

7. If you aren't satisfied with the model's response, delete the prompt thenrepeat the process.
