BigQuery ML is a Google Cloudservice that lets you create and execute machine learning models inBigQuery ML by using standard SQL queries. WithVertex AI, you can use pre-trained and custom tooling within aunified platform. After you register yourBigQuery ML models in the Model Registry,you can manage them with your other ML models for versioning,evaluation, and deployment.

With this integration, you can choose which BigQuery ML models toregister to the Model Registry. After you've registeredyour BigQuery ML models, you can deploy yourBigQuery ML model to an endpoint for online inference.

Limitations

• You can't registerremote models.

• The following models can be registered inModel Registry, but they can't be deployed inVertex AI:

  • Imported XGBoost models
  • ARIMA_PLUS models
  • ARIMA_PLUS_XREG models
