gcloud vmware datastores update(DATASTORE :--location=LOCATION)[--async][--description=DESCRIPTION][GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG …]

gcloudvmwaredatastoresupdatemy-datastore--location=us-west2-a--project=my-project--description="new description"

Or:

gcloudvmwaredatastoresupdatemy-datastore--description="new description"

In the second example, the project and location are taken from gcloud propertiescore/project and compute/zone.

Datastore resource - datastore. The arguments in this group can be used tospecify the attributes of this resource. (NOTE) Some attributes are not givenarguments in this group but can be set in other ways.

To set theproject attribute:

• provide the argumentdatastore on the command line with a fullyspecified name;
• provide the argument--project on the command line;
• set the propertycore/project.

This must be specified.

DATASTORE

ID of the datastore or fully qualified identifier for the datastore.

To set thedatastore attribute:

• provide the argumentdatastore on the command line.

This positional argument must be specified if any of the other arguments in thisgroup are specified.

--location=LOCATION

Location of the private cloud or cluster.

To set thelocation attribute:

• provide the argumentdatastore on the command line with a fullyspecified name;
• provide the argument--location on the command line;
• set the propertycompute/zone.

--async

Return immediately, without waiting for the operation in progress to complete.The default isTrue. Enabled by default, use--no-async to disable.

--description=DESCRIPTION

New description for the datastore.
