SYNOPSIS
gcloud beta monitoring channels deleteCHANNEL[--force][GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG]
DESCRIPTION
(BETA) Delete a notification channel.
EXAMPLES
The following command will delete channelprojects/12345/notificationChannels/67890, but only if the channelis not actively referenced by existing alerting policies:
gcloudbetamonitoringchannelsdelete"projects/12345/notificationChannels/67890"

The following command will delete channelprojects/12345/notificationChannels/67890, even if the channel isstill actively referenced by alerting policies; if an existing policy referencesthe channel, it will be modified as a side-effect to remove the channel.

POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS
Notification channel resource - The notification channel to delete. Thisrepresents a Cloud resource. (NOTE) Some attributes are not given arguments inthis group but can be set in other ways.

To set theproject attribute:

  • provide the argumentchannel on the command line with a fullyspecified name;
  • provide the argument--project on the command line;
  • set the propertycore/project.

This must be specified.

CHANNEL
ID of the notification_channel or fully qualified identifier for thenotification_channel.

To set thechannel attribute:

  • provide the argumentchannel on the command line.
FLAGS
--force
If true, the notification channel will be deleted regardless of its use inalerting policies (the policies will be updated to remove the channel).
GCLOUD WIDE FLAGS
These flags are available to all commands:--access-token-file,--account,--billing-project,--configuration,--flags-file,--flatten,--format,--help,--impersonate-service-account,--log-http,--project,--quiet,--trace-token,--user-output-enabled,--verbosity.
