SYNOPSIS
gcloud alpha projects set-iam-policyPROJECT_IDPOLICY_FILE[GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG]
DESCRIPTION
(ALPHA) Sets the IAM policy for a project, given a project ID and afile encoded in JSON or YAML that contains the IAM policy.
EXAMPLES
The following command reads an IAM policy defined in a JSON filepolicy.json and sets it for a project with the IDexample-project-id-1:
gcloudalphaprojectsset-iam-policyexample-project-id-1policy.json

POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS
Project resource - The project to set the IAM policy for. This represents aCloud resource.

This must be specified.

PROJECT_ID
ID of the project or fully qualified identifier for the project.

To set theproject_id attribute:

  • provide the argumentproject_id on the command line.
POLICY_FILE
Path to a local JSON or YAML formatted file containing a valid policy.

The output of theget-iam-policy command is a valid file, as is anyJSON or YAML file conforming to the structure of aPolicy.

GCLOUD WIDE FLAGS
These flags are available to all commands:--access-token-file,--account,--billing-project,--configuration,--flags-file,--flatten,--format,--help,--impersonate-service-account,--log-http,--project,--quiet,--trace-token,--user-output-enabled,--verbosity.
