SYNOPSIS
gcloud alpha container hub mesh update(--fleet-default-member-config=FLEET_DEFAULT_MEMBER_CONFIG    | [(--origin=ORIGIN--config-api=CONFIG_API |--control-plane=CONTROL_PLANE |--management=MANAGEMENT) :--membership=MEMBERSHIP | [--memberships=[MEMBERSHIPS,…] :--location=LOCATION]])[GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG]
DESCRIPTION
(ALPHA) Update the Service Mesh Feature Spec of a membership.
EXAMPLES
To update the control plane management of comma separated memberships likeMEMBERSHIP1,MEMBERSHIP2, run:
gcloudalphacontainerhubmeshupdate--memberships=MEMBERSHIP1,MEMBERSHIP2--control-plane=CONTROL_PLANE
REQUIRED FLAGS
Exactly one of these must be specified:
--fleet-default-member-config=FLEET_DEFAULT_MEMBER_CONFIG
The path to a service-mesh.yaml configuration file.
ToenabletheServiceMeshFeaturewithafleet-leveldefaultmembershipconfiguration,run:
gcloudalphacontainerhubmeshupdate--fleet-default-member-config=/path/to/service-mesh.yaml
Component options
At least one of these must be specified:
--origin=ORIGIN
Changing the origin of the membership.ORIGIN must be(only one value is supported):fleet.
At most one of these can be specified:
--config-api=CONFIG_API
The API to use for mesh configuration.CONFIG_API mustbe one of:istio,gateway.
--control-plane=CONTROL_PLANE
(DEPRECATED) Control plane management to update to.

The --control-plane flag is now deprecated. Please use--managementinstead. Seehttps://cloud.google.com/service-mesh/docs/managed/provision-managed-anthos-service-mesh.CONTROL_PLANE must be one of:automatic,manual,unspecified.

--management=MANAGEMENT
The management mode to update to.MANAGEMENT must be oneof:automatic,manual,not_installed.
At most one of these can be specified:
--membership=MEMBERSHIP
(DEPRECATED) Membership name to update.

The --membership flag is now deprecated. Please use--membershipsinstead.

Membership resource - The group of arguments defining one or more memberships.The arguments in this group can be used to specify the attributes of thisresource. (NOTE) Some attributes are not given arguments in this group but canbe set in other ways.

To set theproject attribute:

  • provide the argument--memberships on the command line with a fullyspecified name;
  • provide the argument--project on the command line;
  • set the propertycore/project.
--memberships=[MEMBERSHIPS,…]
IDs of the memberships or fully qualified identifiers for the memberships.

To set thememberships attribute:

  • provide the argument--memberships on the command line.

This flag argument must be specified if any of the other arguments in this groupare specified.

--location=LOCATION
Location for the memberships.

To set thelocation attribute:

  • provide the argument--memberships on the command line with a fullyspecified name;
  • provide the argument--location on the command line;
  • set the propertygkehub/location.
GCLOUD WIDE FLAGS
These flags are available to all commands:--access-token-file,--account,--billing-project,--configuration,--flags-file,--flatten,--format,--help,--impersonate-service-account,--log-http,--project,--quiet,--trace-token,--user-output-enabled,--verbosity.
